Putting load on joints is actually good for them, same as muscle although for different reasons
Maybe it hurts YOUR knees. But for a person with healthy knees, there’s nothing wrong with squats and lunges done deeply with tight form.
so does walking if you do it wrong. just take the right stance and the knees won’t feel a thing!

yeah, im always too scared to do squats and lunges because i know my knees arent strong

That is why you focus on using your leg muscles to do most of the job. Don’t focus on how your knees hurt focus on the muscle and lift yourself with the thighs as much as possible.

Finaly somebody who takes advantage of the best exercises on earth rather than building a workout on exercises which work one muscle at a time… Also No it doest if you use correct form then you will not hurt your knees..
